Bottom Line: High Point led by six at the half but McNamera, led by Ibn Muhammed's play on the offensive end, came back and stole the victory from the jaws of defeat. With just 44 seconds left, Muhammad knocked down a three to make it a two point game. Then, Callon Daley forced a turnover and scored at the other end to tie the score at 44 before Muhammad hit the go-ahead layup. On the final play of the game, High Point advanced the ball but a turnover sealed the win for McNamera.
After the game, McNamera Coach Godwin was pleased with the win but said his team needs to be more consistent. "We showed a lot of heart, but we need to show a stronger sense of urgency," he said.
Roosevelt vs. St. John's, 5:30pm

Bottom Line: St. John's continued its trend of turning up the heat in the second half as it found a way to knock off Roosevelt. This was a close game in which Roosevelt made many runs at the lead but couldn't quite get over the hump. Prince Okoroh entered the game late for Roosevelt and provided a spark but it was not enough to override Ryan McNeil-Moses and the St. John's Cadets.
Parkville vs. Carroll, 6:40pm

Bottom Line: Parkville jumped out on top in this but Carroll fought its way back into it. Justin Alston was very strong in the paint and once his team took the lead, there was no turning back.

Bottom Line: It was a rough night for Long Reach as Friendship ran away with the win. Any time Long Reach came close to chipping away at the double-digit lead, Friendship would find some way to change gears whether in defensive strategy or offensive execution. Friendship junior guard Desmond Stanback played his hardest-outhustling his opponents and skillfully slicing through the defense for buckets. Led by his efforts and excellent ball movement, the Friendship Knights dominated the game.
